About

White Noise & Sleep Sounds is an Android app that helps you relax, focus, or fall asleep with ambient sound mixes. It plays up to three sounds simultaneously with per-sound volume and intensity, keeps audio going from a media-playback foreground service so it survives backgrounding and the lock screen, and ships with home-screen widget and MediaSession controls. As of v1.10.0 every sound is free — the premium pack has been retired.

11 free sounds organized into three categories: nature (Rain, Waves, Wind, Thunder, Fireplace, Birds, Crickets), city (Cafe, Fan), and sleep (White Noise, Pink Noise)
9 sounds are CC0 Freesound recordings; the two noise channels are algorithmically generated and shipped as 30-second 16-bit PCM WAV
Multi-sound mixer: play up to 3 sounds simultaneously with individual volume control
Sound intensity slider on 7 channels — live-weights the effective volume (volume × (0.4 + 0.6 × intensity))
Preset save / load — store named mixes (up to 20)
Sleep timer with natural fade-out (0 / 15 / 30 / 60 seconds) and optional loop-after-timer
