These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sia Makerlab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Sia E-Mail Client mobile application ("App" or "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Sia E-Mail Client is an Android email client that connects to the mail accounts you configure using open standards — IMAP/SMTP, JMAP (RFC 8620/8621), and OAuth2 — with no dependency on patented proprietary protocols (it deliberately does not implement Exchange ActiveSync). It communicates directly from your device to your own mail servers and OAuth providers and provides the following features:
The App is provided for Android devices only. Your accounts, credentials, and cached mail are stored locally on your device; there is no Sia Makerlab server in the path.
You are solely responsible for the mail accounts you choose to connect and for the messages you send, receive, and manage through the App. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to access each account you configure and that your use of the App complies with the terms of service of your mail providers and with all applicable laws. You agree not to use the App to send spam or unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, to access any account you do not own or have permission to use, or to interfere with any system. You are responsible for the consequences of actions you perform (such as deleting messages, sending mail, or scheduling sends).
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

Where monetization is enabled at deployment, the App displays advertising through Google AdMob. You may remove ads through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("remove ads"):
Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google's terms; entitlements are reconciled with Google Play. Except as required by law or Google Play policy, purchases are non-refundable.
The App connects to mail servers and OAuth providers that you operate or are authorized to use. Availability, performance, delivery, and the integrity of your mail depend on those providers, your credentials, your network, and your device — not on us. Messages are cached locally for convenience and may be removed when you clear app data or uninstall the App. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important mail; do not rely on the App or its local cache as a backup or recovery system, and we do not guarantee delivery, receipt, or retention of any message.
The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, and software, is owned by Sia Makerlab and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your accounts, credentials, and email content remain yours.
Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Yahoo, iCloud, Naver, Daum, Kakao, and other provider names are trademarks of their respective owners. Sia E-Mail Client is an independent client and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any of these providers; such names are used solely to identify compatible services.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the App may be used by us without any obligation to you.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that mail synchronization, sending, receipt, or on-device processing will be accurate, complete, timely, or uninterrupted.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIA MAKERLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM MAIL THAT IS NOT DELIVERED, IS DELAYED, OR IS DELETED — RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, for material changes, displaying a notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable EU law.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sia Makerlab regarding your use of the App.

This Terms of Service is available in English. If translated versions are provided, the English version shall prevail in case of any discrepancy.
