These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sia Makerlab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Sia Container Manager mobile application ("App" or "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Sia Container Manager is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Docker, Inc., Red Hat, Inc., Synology, QNAP, or any other vendor. "Docker" is a trademark of Docker, Inc. and "Podman" is a trademark of Red Hat, Inc.; these and other marks belong to their respective owners and are used only descriptively. Docker and Podman are officially supported; other Docker-compatible environments may work depending on their API compatibility, and experimental nerdctl support is available over SSH. The App connects to the Docker or Podman daemon on those environments and does not call any vendor-specific NAS management API. The App is not a substitute for your server's own audit logs; the action history it records is local to your device.
Sia Container Manager is an Android tool for operating Docker, Podman, and Docker-compatible container environments that you are authorized to access. The App is serverless: it connects directly from your device to the servers you specify — over the Docker/Podman HTTP API (with optional TLS or mutual TLS) or over SSH — and there is no Sia Makerlab server in the path. It provides the following features:
The App is provided for Android devices only.
You connect to your own servers using your own credentials, and you act with the permissions those credentials hold. You are solely responsible for the actions you take against your servers, including starting, stopping, creating, deleting, pruning, running commands, and editing configuration. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to access each server you connect to and to perform the operations you execute, and you agree not to use the App to access, alter, or interfere with any system you do not own or have permission to use.
Your servers, credentials, SSH keys, and data remain yours. Because the App communicates directly with your servers, we do not receive, hold, or control any of it.
Container operations can change or destroy production systems. The App grades operations by risk and applies safeguards — confirmation dialogs, typed-name confirmation, and biometric authentication for critical actions such as prune, compose down, and volume removal. You are responsible for confirming these actions. Changes you make on a server may be irreversible and can cause downtime or data loss. You should maintain your own backups and change-management process. Do not rely on the App as a backup, recovery, or audit system for critical or production infrastructure. Read-only mode in the App is a UI safeguard only and does not restrict what your credentials are permitted to do on the server.
The App is free to use and displays advertising through Google AdMob, using only App Open and Native ad formats. You may remove ads and unlock the App's premium ("Pro") capabilities through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase:
Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google's terms; entitlements are reconciled with Google Play. Except as required by law or Google Play policy, purchases are non-refundable. Advertising is served by Google AdMob using its own advertising identifier and device signals and does not use any data obtained from the servers you connect to.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes.
You agree NOT to:
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that connections, reads, writes, or administrative operations will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIA MAKERLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — INCLUDING CONTAINERS, IMAGES, VOLUMES, OR CONFIGURATION MODIFIED OR DELETED ON YOUR SERVERS, SERVICE DISRUPTION, OR DOWNTIME — RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
The App encrypts credentials and SSH keys at rest using the Android Keystore (AES-GCM) and excludes them from backup. It verifies TLS certificates and pins SSH host keys by SHA-256 fingerprint, blocking connections when a host identity changes. You are responsible for keeping your device, your credentials, and your servers secure, and for choosing appropriate transport security (such as TLS or mTLS) for your connections.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices, including our serverless, direct-connection model.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to us or third parties, or for any other reason.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, for material changes, displaying a notice within the App or on the App's listing. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable EU law.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sia Makerlab regarding your use of the App.
