These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sia Makerlab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Sia Backend Manager mobile application ("App" or "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Sia Backend Manager is an independent developer tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or Firebase. "Firebase," "Google Cloud," and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used only descriptively. The App is not a substitute for the official Firebase Console and does not include analytics or performance dashboards, Cloud Functions deployment, or bulk-operations tooling.
Sia Backend Manager is an Android developer tool for viewing and managing Firebase-based app backends that you are authorized to access. The App is serverless: it calls Google and Firebase APIs directly from your device using your own Google account's OAuth authorization, and there is no Sia Makerlab server in the path. It provides the following features:
The App is provided for Android devices only.
You sign in with your own Google account and act with your own permissions. You are solely responsible for the actions you take against your Firebase and Google Cloud projects, including reads, writes, deletes, uploads, downloads, and message sends. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to access each project you connect to and to perform the operations you execute, and you agree not to use the App to access, alter, or interfere with any system you do not own or have permission to use.
Your projects, credentials, and data remain yours. Because the App communicates directly with Google's APIs, we do not receive, hold, or control your data.
Operations you perform in the App may consume quota and incur charges on your Firebase and Google Cloud billing account. Reads, writes, downloads, uploads, and messaging run against your own project. You are solely responsible for such costs. The App surfaces cost and safety warnings, but Sia Makerlab is not responsible for any charges you incur.
The App surfaces confirmation dialogs and warnings for destructive or production-affecting actions — such as document and node deletes, Cloud Storage deletes, Remote Config publishes, and topic messaging. You are responsible for confirming these actions. Server-side changes you make may be irreversible, and you should maintain your own backups. Do not rely on the App as a backup or recovery system for critical or production backends.
The App is free to use. It offers an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks Pro features:
Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google's terms; entitlements are reconciled with Google Play. Except as required by law or Google Play policy, purchases are non-refundable. The App does not display third-party advertising.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes.
You agree NOT to:
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that connections, reads, writes, or administrative operations will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIA MAKERLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — INCLUDING DATA MODIFIED OR DELETED IN YOUR PROJECTS, SERVICE DISRUPTION, OR COSTS INCURRED ON YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT — RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
The App uses Google OAuth for authorization and does not store service-account JSON keys. Your OAuth access token is stored only on your device, encrypted with an Android Keystore AES/GCM key, and is short-lived and re-authorized on expiry. You are responsible for keeping your device and your Google account secure.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices, including our serverless, direct-to-Google model and our adherence to the Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use).
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to us or third parties, or for any other reason.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by signing out and uninstalling it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, for material changes, displaying a notice within the App or on the App's listing. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable EU law.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sia Makerlab regarding your use of the App.
