This app is a single-language Korean service distributed and used only within the Republic of Korea. This Privacy Policy has been prepared in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other relevant laws and regulations.

1. Information We Collect

Sajupalja (hereinafter the "App") does not require sign-up or account creation, and does not collect directly identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number. All Four Pillars of Destiny, I Ching, and date selection (auspicious-day selection) calculations are performed on your device, and raw personal information such as your date of birth and gender is not transmitted to any external server.

Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored locally on your device:

• Four Pillars profile: Date and time of birth (to the minute), gender, name (alias), solar/lunar calendar distinction, leap-month indicator, unknown-hour-pillar indicator, and other input values required for Four Pillars and date selection calculations
• I Ching divination records: The primary hexagram, derived hexagram, moving lines, date, and notes for divinations performed by the user (yarrow-stalk method or coin method)
• Compatibility records: Compatibility results between two profiles and the cached AI commentary (stored within the payload)
• Date selection records: Calendar lookup results, scores by purpose, and AI commentary cache by date
• Reading records: The last-read position, bookmarks, search history, and font-size settings in the classical-text reader (Ziping Zhenquan, Qiong Tong Bao Jian, Di Tian Sui Chan Wei, the original text of the I Ching, etc.)
• Today tab cache: The hexagram of the day and the interpretation results for the five major categories (generated once per day), and the AI commentary cache by category (7-day TTL)
• AI commentary cache: AI responses by screen — including life, major fortune (daeun), annual fortune (seun), monthly fortune (wolun), daily fortune (ilun), structure and useful god (gyeokguk / yongsin), date selection, compatibility, and today's fortune categories — are cached for 7 days (Room DB). When the same input is requested again, the cached response is displayed without an additional LLM call
• Purchase status: Whether the ad-removal in-app purchase (remove_ads) has been purchased — based on the results of Google Play receipt verification
• App settings: Theme (system/light/dark), language (fixed to Korean), notification/push settings, and privacy consent status

Data Transmitted to the AI Natural-Language Commentary Server

The App transmits a request to the self-hosted LLM (vLLM Gemma) endpoint (https://llm-proxy.wody.work) only when generating natural-language commentary on the results of Four Pillars, I Ching, date selection, or compatibility calculations. The nature of the data transmitted at that time is as follows:

• What is transmitted: An anonymized expert query produced by the deterministic rule engine (in the form of technical-term tokens, e.g., "庚金 day master, branches 寅午戌 forming a fire bureau, monthly command 辰, structure = seven killings, useful god = eating god") and the system prompt
• What is not transmitted: No directly identifying information whatsoever is transmitted, including your name, raw date-of-birth values, gender, location, contact information, device identifiers, or advertising ID. The SHA-256 ProfileHash used for cache identification is also not included in the LLM request body (it is used only as an internal app cache key)
• PII guard: Immediately before sending an LLM request, the App inspects the prompt for date-of-birth patterns (yyyy-MM-dd, 8-digit numbers) and blocks them
• Anti-abuse authentication: To prevent server abuse, requests carry the app package name together with a Play Integrity token and nonce (on release builds); these anti-abuse signals do not identify you personally
• Retention policy: The server does not persistently store individual requests or responses, and does not use them for training (model training). Only standard operational logs (access time, errors, latency) are collected for operational purposes
• Fallback: In the event of a network error, LLM timeout, 4xx, or 5xx, the App automatically falls back to its built-in rule-based templates (providing basic interpretation even offline)

Information Collected by Third Parties

The App uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect data in accordance with its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob: May collect advertising ID, device information, and usage data in order to serve ads (adaptive banner and app-open). Purchasing the ad-removal in-app purchase (remove_ads) disables both the banner and app-open ads.
• Google Play Billing: Processes payment information in order to handle the in-app purchase (ad removal). Payment data is processed by Google, and this App does not directly collect payment information such as payment card numbers.
• Google Play Integrity: Uses Play Integrity API tokens to verify the authenticity of in-app purchase receipts, to authenticate requests to the AI commentary server, and to detect abnormal clients. In the course of issuing tokens, Google may collect device integrity signals.

2. Purpose of Use of Information

The information stored on the device and the queries transmitted to the server are used only for the following purposes:

• Producing the results of Four Pillars, I Ching, date selection, and compatibility calculations and providing personalized commentary
• Saving and restoring reading progress in the classical-text reader
• Maintaining user preferences (theme, notification times, etc.)
• Sending the hexagram of the day and daily reminder push notifications
• Displaying ads, processing the in-app purchase (ad removal), and verifying receipts (via third-party services)

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Raw personal information (such as date and time of birth) is stored only on your device.

• Delete all data: Via Settings > Data Management > "Delete All Data," you can immediately delete the stored profiles, I Ching divination records, compatibility records, date selection records, reading records, AI commentary cache, and app settings
• Delete individual profiles: You can delete a single profile by selecting it in the Four Pillars tab
• Delete individual AI commentary: Via the "Delete Record" button in each AI commentary dialog, you can remove the cache for that item
• Bulk reset of AI cache: Via Settings > Data Management > "Reset AI Commentary Cache," you can remove the AI cache for all screens at once
• Automatic expiration: The AI commentary cache automatically expires after 7 days
• Withdrawal of consent: Via Settings > Data Management > "Withdraw Privacy Consent," you can withdraw your consent. The consent screen will be displayed again when the App is restarted
• App backup policy: This App excludes all local storage (DataStore, Room DB, SharedPreferences) from backup in Android Auto Backup and Device-to-Device migration. Purchase status is tied to the Google Play account and is restored automatically
• App deletion: Deleting (uninstalling) the App automatically removes all local data. Purchase status can be restored via "Restore Purchases" when the App is reinstalled under the same Google account

4. Third-Party Services

When a user purchases the ad-removal in-app purchase through Google Play, both the banner and app-open ads are disabled.

5. Consent and User Rights

On first launch, the App displays a consent screen for data processing, explaining what data is stored and how it is used. Users may use the App only after giving consent.

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

• Delete all stored data and the AI cache in the App settings
• Delete a single cache entry in each AI commentary dialog ("Delete Record")
• Withdraw privacy consent in the App settings
• Disable push notifications in the App settings
• Disable ad personalization and reset your advertising ID in the Android device settings

6. App Permissions

• Internet access: Required for displaying ads, processing the in-app purchase, and requesting AI natural-language commentary
• Network state: Required for checking connection status
• Display notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, Android 13+): Required for the hexagram-of-the-day notification, daily reminders, and AI-response-complete notifications. Even if you deny this permission, the core functions of the App operate normally; only notifications are not displayed
• Run at startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used to re-register the scheduled local reminders (WorkManager) after the device restarts
• No separate camera, microphone, location, contacts, or storage permissions are requested

7. Children's Personal Information

This App is not intended for children under the age of 14, and does not intentionally collect children's personal information. If it is confirmed that a child under the age of 14 has entered personal information without the consent of a guardian, the company will destroy that information without delay.

8. Overseas Transfer of Data

Google-provided services such as AdMob, Google Play Billing, and Play Integrity may process data through Google's global infrastructure, and accordingly some data may be transferred overseas. For details, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy. The LLM proxy server (llm-proxy.wody.work) operated directly by Sia Makerlab is operated within the Republic of Korea.

9. Notice on Academic and Cultural Reference Use

The Four Pillars of Destiny, the I Ching, and date selection are East Asian classical studies and cultural traditions. The interpretations provided by this App are for academic and cultural reference purposes and do not replace the advice of professionals in fields such as medicine, law, finance, or psychological counseling. In particular, for inquiries related to health, pregnancy, illness, major financial decisions, or legal disputes, please be sure to consult a professional in the relevant field.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, we will notify you through an app update or a notice on our website. If you continue to use the App after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised policy.
