1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sia Makerlab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Quick Checklist mobile application ("App" or "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Quick Checklist is a single-purpose Android app for reusable checklist templates. It is designed for routines that repeat (camping prep, work bag, travel, baby outings, shopping, cleaning routines, vehicle checks) and is not a general-purpose note-taking app.

The App provides the following features:

• Template creation, editing, deletion, and one-tap duplication (duplicates start with every item unchecked)
• Per-template title, icon, and color, with custom sort order and "last used" sorting
• Item add / edit / delete, up/down reordering, and bulk operations
• One-tap "Reset all" to clear every check and start the next session quickly
• Real-time persistence to a local Room database
• Home screen Glance widgets in four sizes: 1×1 (title + progress %), 2×2 (progress bar), 4×2 (up to three unchecked items), 4×4 (up to eight unchecked items). Tapping a widget opens the matching template's detail screen via an EXTRA_TEMPLATE_ID intent
• Sample templates seeded once on first launch
• Light, dark, and system theme support
• AdMob adaptive banner ads (Main / Detail / Settings) and an App Open ad (skipped on first launch, then at most once every four hours)
• One-time in-app purchase to remove ads (Google Play Billing 7, product remove_ads)
• Fully offline — no account, no server sync, no cloud backup of checklist data

The App is provided for Android devices only. The App requests the INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, and com.android.vending.BILLING permissions as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility and Use Requirements

3.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Account

The App does not require user registration or account creation. No personal account information is collected or stored by us.

5. License Grant and Restrictions

5.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

5.2 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion thereof
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the App
• Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose
• Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App to third parties
• Use automated means to access or use the App without our express permission
• Tamper with, block, or otherwise interfere with the in-app advertisements described in §9, or use the App in a manner that violates Google's AdMob policies for ad-supported apps

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, and software, is owned by Sia Makerlab and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the App may be used by us without any obligation to you.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

7.1 General Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7.2 No Safety-Critical Use

The App is intended as a personal-productivity tool only. Do not use it as the sole record for safety-critical inspections (aviation, medical, regulatory). You are solely responsible for compliance with any applicable inspection or checklist requirements.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIA MAKERLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

8. In-App Purchases

The App offers one optional in-app purchase, "Remove Ads" (product ID remove_ads, one-time non-consumable), processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Once purchased, both the adaptive banner and App Open ad placements are hidden immediately. All purchases are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies. We are not responsible for any disputes arising from purchases processed by Google Play.

In-app purchases are non-transferable and tied to your Google account. Server-side receipt verification is not performed in the current release; the purchase state is restored via Google Play Billing's local query on app start.

9. Advertising

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, in two formats:

• Adaptive banner ad anchored at the bottom of the Main, Detail, and Settings screens; re-sized when the screen width changes.
• App Open ad shown when the App returns to the foreground — skipped on the very first launch, then shown at most once every four hours.

Both placements are hidden as soon as you purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app product. Advertisements are subject to Google's terms and policies.

The App does not currently bundle the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent SDK; ad-personalization choices are managed through Android's system "Ads" settings.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms
• Displaying a notice within the App for material changes

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

For users in the European Union, these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable EU law.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sia Makerlab regarding your use of the App.
