These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Sia Makerlab ("we," "us," or "our") governing Monthly Budget (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is currently in pre-production. Features, availability, store listing, and technical requirements may change before public release while these Terms remain revision 1.0.

Monthly Budget is a local-first household budgeting tool organized around a payday-to-payday cycle. It provides:
Core budgeting works offline and requires no Sia Makerlab account. Optional Drive sync and Google services require a network connection and may require a Google account.
The App is a general-audience financial utility and is not directed to children. You must be at least 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use it independently. A minor must use the App with permission and involvement from a parent or legal guardian.
Subject to these Terms, Sia Makerlab grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on compatible devices you own or control.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, bypass protections in, or create derivative works from the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.
You retain rights in information you enter or export. You are responsible for:
Do not use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes, attempt to access another person's Drive data without permission, disrupt Google or App services, upload malware, or manipulate purchase or advertising functions.
The App is a personal recordkeeping and calculation tool. It does not provide financial, accounting, tax, legal, credit, or investment advice. Results depend on your entries and settings and may contain errors. Verify important information yourself and consult a qualified professional before making financial or legal decisions.
Budget data is stored locally first. You are responsible for maintaining any backup you need.
Drive sync is optional and uses the Google drive.file permission. The App can access files it creates and files or folders you explicitly select or share with it. Google sign-in for sync does not create a Monthly Budget account.
When sync is enabled:
Synchronization is designed to merge changes and avoid reviving deleted records, but no sync system guarantees instant delivery or conflict-free results in every case. Network outages, clock differences, provider changes, concurrent edits, insufficient permissions, corrupted files, or user deletion can delay sync or cause inconsistency or data loss. Review synchronized data and keep exports when records are important.
Your use of Google Drive is also governed by Google's terms and policies.
If advertising is configured for the release build, the App can show adaptive banner and app-open ads through Google AdMob. UMP is used where applicable to request or record advertising choices before ads are requested.
Google and its advertising partners control ad delivery and content. We do not endorse advertised products and are not responsible for third-party advertising. Device or consent settings can affect ad personalization and availability. The App currently has no dedicated settings control for reopening the UMP privacy-options form.
The App may offer remove_ads, a one-time, non-consumable product through Google Play Billing.
If a purchase is pending, entitlement is granted only after Google reports it as purchased. Refunds or revoked purchases can remove the entitlement.
The App depends on Google Credential Manager and Identity Services, Google Drive API and Picker, Google Mobile Ads and UMP, Google Play Billing, Google Play In-App Updates, and Google Play In-App Review.
Third-party services can change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue functionality. Their availability, data processing, account rules, prices, refunds, content, and terms are controlled by their providers. Sia Makerlab is not responsible for third-party outages or decisions.
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue App features or support at any time. We do not promise that the App, Drive synchronization, ads, billing, updates, reviews, or a particular version will always be available, compatible, secure, or error-free.
Play In-App Updates may offer or require newer versions according to the App's update policy. You are responsible for installing compatible updates. Pre-release builds may contain unfinished behavior and should not be used as the sole record of important financial information.
The App, source code, design, branding, and original materials are owned by Sia Makerlab or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App or Sia Makerlab marks to you.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, DATA INTEGRITY, AVAILABILITY, OR COMPATIBILITY.
We do not warrant that calculations are accurate; synchronization is immediate or complete; local, exported, or Drive data will not be lost; third-party services will remain available; or defects will be corrected. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sia Makerlab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, business, savings, or goodwill arising from the App.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Sia Makerlab's total aggregate liability relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly for the App or its in-app product during the 12 months before the claim or US $10. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by mandatory law.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Sia Makerlab against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from content you upload or share, your unlawful use of the App, or your violation of these Terms or another person's rights.
You may stop using the App at any time and may uninstall it. We may suspend or terminate access to App-controlled functionality if you materially violate these Terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Termination does not automatically delete Drive files, exported CSV files, Google account authorization, or Google Play purchase history. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, remain effective.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting sia@siamakerlab.com. Unresolved disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea, except where mandatory consumer law grants you another forum or protection.
These are version 1.0 terms for the pre-release App. We may update them as the App changes. We will update the Last Updated date and provide additional notice where required. A later edit before production may remain within version 1.0; revisions after production may receive a new version number. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the App.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement regarding the App and supersede prior terms on the same subject.
