These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sia Makerlab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the LingoPlayer mobile application ("App" or "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
LingoPlayer is a local video player that pre-translates subtitles using an AI provider you connect. It provides the following features:
The App is provided for Android devices only. Playback uses your device's built-in media decoders only; the App does not bundle software decoders subject to licensing or patent restrictions, so some media formats may not be supported on your device.
The App does not provide AI translation itself. To translate subtitles, you must connect your own AI provider and supply any required API key or endpoint. You are solely responsible for:
We are not a party to your relationship with any AI provider and are not responsible for its availability, output, pricing, or policies.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for the video and subtitle files you open with the App and for ensuring you have the legal right to access, play, and translate that content. You agree not to use the App to infringe copyright or other rights, or for any unlawful purpose. The App accesses your files locally through the Android file picker and does not transmit them to us.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, and software, is owned by Sia Makerlab and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your media files, subtitles, and any translated output remain yours.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the App may be used by us without any obligation to you.
The free version of the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob — an app-open ad and an interstitial (full-screen) ad before playback. Advertisements are subject to Google's terms and policies. You may remove advertising by making the one-time purchase described in Section 9.
The App offers an optional one-time "remove ads" purchase that permanently turns off all advertising. The following terms apply:
We are not responsible for any disputes arising from purchases processed by Google Play, and we do not receive or store your payment information.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Subtitle translations are generated by third-party AI providers and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes. The App provides translations for convenience only, and we do not warrant their accuracy. Media decoding depends on your device, and some formats may not play.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIA MAKERLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, for material changes, displaying a notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable EU law.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sia Makerlab regarding your use of the App.

This Terms of Service is available in English. If translated versions are provided, the English version shall prevail in case of any discrepancy.
