1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sia Makerlab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the QueryDock for IBM Db2 mobile application ("App" or "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

QueryDock for IBM Db2 is an Android app for connecting to IBM Db2 servers that you specify. It connects directly from your device to those servers over a direct or SSH-tunnelled Type-4 JDBC link using the bundled IBM driver, or explores built-in demo data with no server, and provides the following features:

• Live connections via Type-4 JDBC (direct or SSH tunnel) or a built-in demo data source per profile, with a Db2 family selector, connection test, SSL/TLS, favorites, and a connect-time password prompt for profiles whose password isn't saved
• SSH tunnel via local port-forwarding with encrypted-at-rest SSH credentials
• Multiple concurrent connections with an active-connection switcher and per-profile caching with stale-connection self-heal
• SQL editor with Db2 keyword highlighting, live-catalog autocomplete, run/cancel, query history, read-only mode, and destructive-statement confirmation; results as grid, auto-suggested chart, or info, with export
• Schema browser: schemas → tables/views/indexes/routines → columns, indexes, and DDL, with view data and a side-by-side detail pane on tablets and foldables
• Paginated, horizontally-scrollable table-data grid with a pinned first column
• Dashboard & Monitor with overview cards, tablespace usage, session distribution, lock waits, buffer-pool hit ratios, top SQL, and throughput, visualized with bar, donut, gauge, line, and sparkline charts
• A home-screen Jetpack Glance widget and settings for theme, language, biometric app lock, read-only default, and result page size
• A z/OS-aware catalog that adapts to the Db2 family (LUW SYSCAT.* versus z/OS SYSIBM.SYS*)
• Connection and SSH passwords kept in EncryptedSharedPreferences, never in plain profile storage, and an optional biometric app lock

The App is provided for Android devices only. Your connection profiles and credentials are stored locally on your device.

3. Acceptable Use of Connections

You are solely responsible for the database servers you choose to connect to and the operations you perform. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to access each server you configure and to run the SQL statements, schema operations, and administrative actions you execute, and you agree not to use the App to access, alter, or interfere with any system you do not own or have permission to use. You are responsible for the consequences of destructive operations (such as DROP, DELETE, UPDATE, or other data-modifying statements) that you run.

4. Eligibility and Use Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

5. License Grant and Restrictions

5.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

5.2 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion thereof
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the App
• Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose, including accessing database servers you are not authorized to use
• Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App to third parties

6. Ads and In-App Purchases

The App displays advertising through Google AdMob (App Open and native formats). You may remove ads through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("remove ads"):

• The App is free to use with ads.
• Purchasing the ad-removal product removes all ad formats across the App.
• The purchase is restored automatically on app start and can be restored manually from the settings screen.

Where required, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain your consent for personalized advertising. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google's terms; entitlements are reconciled with Google Play. Except as required by law or Google Play policy, purchases are non-refundable.

7. Third-Party Services and Reliability Disclaimer

The App connects to database servers that you operate or are authorized to use. Availability, performance, and the integrity of your data depend on those servers, your credentials, your network, and your device. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; do not rely on the App as a backup or recovery system for critical or production databases.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, and software, is owned by Sia Makerlab and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your connection data and database contents remain yours.

The App is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by IBM Corporation. "IBM" and "Db2" and related marks are trademarks of IBM Corporation and are used descriptively only to identify the database software the App connects to.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the App may be used by us without any obligation to you.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 General Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that connections, queries, or administrative operations will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIA MAKERLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM DATA MODIFIED OR DELETED ON YOUR SERVERS — RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, for material changes, displaying a notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable EU law.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.

14. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sia Makerlab regarding your use of the App.
