Huab Translator ("the App", "we", "the Service") is a Lao–Korean translation app for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information when you use the App.
The App has no accounts, no sign-up, and no user profiles. Everything you create in the App — translation history, settings, images — is stored only on your device, in an AES-256 encrypted database. We do not operate a server that stores your content.

Changed in v3.0: Earlier versions (v2.0) registered an anonymized Device ID with a usage-management server to enforce daily and monthly translation quotas and premium entitlements. That system has been removed. The App no longer sends a device identifier or usage counters to our servers, and there is no premium tier.
All of the following is written to a local SQLite database encrypted with SQLCipher (AES-256). Nothing in this section is transmitted to us.
Data leaves your device only at the moment you use the corresponding feature.

Photo/gallery access is handled through the Android system picker; the App does not request broad media permissions.

No system is perfectly secure, but the App keeps user content local by design, which removes most classes of server-side exposure.

Rights under the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and Korea's PIPA are supported in practice by the design above: we hold no personal data about you, so there is no profile to access, correct, or delete.

Huab Translator — A translator for my little wife, Hua. A bridge connecting conversations between Laos and Korea.
This Privacy Policy is authored in English. If a translated version is provided, the English version prevails in case of any discrepancy.
