These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sia Makerlab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the QueryDock for DuckDB mobile application ("App" or "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
QueryDock for DuckDB is an Android app for opening, querying, editing, and analyzing DuckDB database files locally on your device. The DuckDB engine is embedded in the App (compiled via the Android NDK) and runs entirely on-device, with no remote database server and no cloud round-trip. It provides the following features:

You are solely responsible for the files you open and the operations you perform. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to open, read, and modify each file you select through the Android document picker, and you agree not to use the App to access or alter any file you do not own or have permission to use. You are responsible for the consequences of destructive operations (such as DROP, DELETE, or overwriting a file on export) that you run.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

The App displays advertising through Google AdMob, using App Open and native ad formats only (there are no banner ads). Ads are requested only after consent is obtained through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required. You may remove ads through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("remove ads"):
Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google's terms; entitlements are reconciled with Google Play. Except as required by law or Google Play policy, purchases are non-refundable.
The App reads and writes local files that you select, and processes your data entirely on-device. The integrity of your files depends on your device, your storage, and the operations you choose to run. Encrypted databases require a key that you supply and that we cannot recover. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; do not rely on the App as a backup or recovery system for important data.
The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, and software, is owned by Sia Makerlab and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your files and data remain yours.
DuckDB is a trademark of the DuckDB Foundation. QueryDock for DuckDB is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by the DuckDB Foundation. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the App may be used by us without any obligation to you.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that queries, edits, imports, or exports will be accurate, complete, or error-free.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIA MAKERLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM DATA MODIFIED OR DELETED IN YOUR FILES OR FROM A LOST ENCRYPTION KEY — RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, for material changes, displaying a notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable EU law.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sia Makerlab regarding your use of the App.

This Terms of Service is available in English. If translated versions are provided, the English version shall prevail in case of any discrepancy.
