1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sia Makerlab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Babying mobile application ("App" or "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Babying is a mobile parenting encyclopedia application that provides:

• Parenting information covering pregnancy preparation through adolescence
• Markdown-based articles organized by life stage and topic
• Bookmarking and search functionality
• Multilingual content support (Korean and Lao)

The App is provided for Android devices only (minimum Android 8.0).

3. CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: AI-GENERATED CONTENT

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SECTION OF THESE TERMS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

3.1 AI Content Generation

All informational content within the App — including but not limited to parenting articles, health information, nutritional guidance, developmental milestones, safety guidelines, and government support information — has been written and translated by Claude Code AI, an artificial intelligence assistant developed by Anthropic.

3.2 Content Limitations

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• The AI-generated content may contain factual errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information
• Translations between Korean and Lao may be imprecise, misleading, or contextually inappropriate
• The content has NOT been reviewed, verified, or endorsed by licensed medical professionals, certified translators, or subject matter experts
• The content is based primarily on Korean standards, guidelines, and cultural context, which may differ significantly from standards in other countries
• AI-generated content may reflect biases present in training data and may not account for individual circumstances
• The content may not reflect the most current medical research, legal requirements, or government policies

3.3 Not Medical Advice

THE APP DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. The information in the App is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for:

• Professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Consultation with qualified healthcare providers such as doctors, pediatricians, or specialists
• Official government health guidelines or regulations
• Licensed professional translation services for critical information

NEVER DISREGARD PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE OR DELAY SEEKING IT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING YOU READ IN THIS APP.

3.4 Emergency Situations

IN CASE OF A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, IMMEDIATELY CALL YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES OR GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM. DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP FOR EMERGENCY GUIDANCE.

3.5 Cross-Verification Required

Before acting on any information found in the App, you should:

• Verify health-related information with qualified medical professionals
• Cross-reference government support information with official government sources
• Confirm translations with qualified human translators for important matters
• Consult appropriate professionals for any decisions affecting your child's health, safety, or wellbeing

3.6 User Responsibility

YOU BEAR FULL AND SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR:

• Any decisions made based on the content provided in this App
• Verifying the accuracy of any information before relying on it
• Any consequences arising from your use of or reliance on the App's content
• Determining the suitability of the information for your specific situation, location, and circumstances

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. The App is intended for use by parents, caregivers, and expectant parents, not by children.

5. User Account

The App does not require user registration or account creation. No personal account information is collected or stored.

6. License Grant and Restrictions

6.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

6.2 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App content for commercial purposes without our express written permission
• Present AI-generated content from the App as professional medical, legal, or expert advice
• Redistribute the App's content as verified or authoritative medical information
• Use automated means to extract or scrape content from the App
• Remove or alter any disclaimers, attribution notices, or proprietary markings

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Company Ownership

The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and icons, is owned by Sia Makerlab and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 Content Attribution

All article content within the App is AI-generated by Claude Code AI. While we claim copyright over the compilation and presentation of this content, we make no claims regarding the originality or exclusivity of the underlying information.

8. Advertisements

8.1 Third-Party Advertising

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, subject to Google's advertising policies.

8.2 Advertising Disclaimer

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or appropriateness of any advertisements, or any products, services, or claims made by advertisers.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 "As Is" Provision

THE APP AND ALL ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION

9.2 No Medical Warranty

WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT:

• The health or medical information in the App is accurate, complete, or current
• The content is suitable for your specific situation or jurisdiction
• The translations are accurate or contextually appropriate
• The App will be compatible with your device or operating system
• Following the App's content will lead to any particular outcome

9.3 AI Content Warranty Exclusion

WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT. AI SYSTEMS CAN AND DO PRODUCE INCORRECT, MISLEADING, OR FABRICATED INFORMATION ("HALLUCINATIONS"). YOU USE THIS CONTENT ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Maximum Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SIA MAKERLAB, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
• ANY PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, OR HARM ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON APP CONTENT
• ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OR MISLEADING AI-GENERATED CONTENT
• ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM TRANSLATION ERRORS OR CULTURAL MISINTERPRETATIONS
• ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP

10.2 Liability Cap

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED TEN US DOLLARS ($10).

10.3 Essential Purpose

THE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SET FORTH ABOVE ARE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF THE BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN YOU AND US. THE APP WOULD NOT BE PROVIDED WITHOUT SUCH LIMITATIONS.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sia Makerlab from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or fees arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of or reliance on the App's content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Any decisions you make based on the App's AI-generated content
• Any claim that you represented the App's content as professional medical or expert advice

12. Termination

You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access at any time without prior notice.

Upon termination, all licenses granted to you immediately cease. Sections relating to Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and AI Content Disclaimers shall survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting us at sia@siamakerlab.com. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST US.

14. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding the App.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms. We may assign without restriction.
• Language: These Terms are provided in English. The English version prevails in case of any discrepancy with translated versions.
